This month saw Barclay Communications participate in the third and most ambitious Digital DNA business conference to date. The event in Titanic, Belfast was attended by over 500 delegates and included an impressive speaker line-up of global and local business leaders as well as digital experts from industry giants such as Twitter and Facebook.
Sharon Young from Barclay Communications presented a workshop on embracing the mobile revolution along with Simon Cockcroft, Head of Digital and Partner Services at O2. The workshop also provided the perfect platform to unveil the return on investment being achieved by local companies Coral Environmental, DB McLarnon Fire Protection Agency and Work Services from embracing Barclay Communications’ mobile workflow management solution, WorkPal. The audience had the opportunity to field questions on harnessing mobile digital technologies for growth to an expert Q & A panel made up of O2 and Barclay Communications’ customers and digital experts.
Speaking at the event, Barclay Communications MD, Britt Megahey said: “We are delighted to be involved in Digital DNA this year. As specialists in mobile and digital innovation, we have witnessed businesses all across the province embracing new and exciting technologies to improve how and where they work. With the mobile revolution well under way, the speed of change is increasing dramatically. There is a huge risk that those companies that don’t fully embrace the opportunity that digital technology presents will be left behind.
He went on to say: “Digital technologies can bring enormous benefits to companies looking to be innovative in their marketplace, whilst also helping to drive cost-reduction strategies. It has been great to be able to showcase the benefits that our own digital products, like WorkPal are bringing to Northern Ireland businesses.”
