Golden iPhone Costs 1.92 Million Pounds

Wednesday 2nd December 2009

Originally commissioned by an anonymous Australian businessman, the design and manufacture of the world’s most expensive iPhone has at last been completed.

Top designer Stuart Hughes from Liverpool in Merseyside has been lovingly labouring for ten months on the iPhone 3G S SUPREME which, valued at £1.92 million can only be intended for the richest people in the world, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Mr Hughes elaborated: “The iPhone is the phone with the most tricks on the market. What possibly could we do to trick it up more? Bless it with the finest precious metal and jewels. Most of the ten months was spent trying to source the diamond for the navigation button.”

According to his website, Stuart Hughes is one of the best in his field and his personal goal from day one has always been to be absolutely unique.

Consequently, he has for many years been recognised as a world leading designer. He is so passionate that he himself often takes his latest gadget to the nearest jeweller for the diamonds to be put in.

The iPhone 3G S SUPREME is encased in 271 grams of 22 carat solid gold, while the front bezel is home to 136 perfect diamonds colour F which together comprise an astounding 68 carats.

Another 53 flawless diamonds totalling one carat make up the solid gold Apple logo on the back of this unique handset. A single cut and extremely rare diamond is set into the front navigation button.

The bejewelled smartphone is housed in a chest manufactured from a single block of granite made from Kashmir gold, lined with Nubuck top grain leather and weighing 7 kilograms.

Not surprisingly, the retail price of the iPhone 3G S SUPREME is yet to be announced!
